Join us for a traditional Palm Sunday worship service at 9:15 am. Following the service, we will have an Easter Party and Egg Hunt for the children.
Easter Celebration – Join Us for a Day of Fun!
Come celebrate the new life in Jesus with us! Everyone is invited to enjoy an Easter Egg Hunt, crafts, games, and a light lunch. Older youth are welcome to help hide the eggs! When: Sunday, April 13, after church.
Confirmation Class meets on Saturday, March 15th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 pm in the Youth Room.
This year on Maundy Thursday April 17th, we will include foot washing in the service. Foot washing on this holy night reminds us of Jesus’ own act of love for his disciples at the Last Supper. Basic instructions will be given in the service by Pastor Cover, and those who would like to participate can come forward to wash feet. Not everyone will be comfortable with this part of the service, especially since we have not done it before at St. John’s, and that is OK. Maybe this is the year you watch what happens, which is also a moving experience.
Good Friday service will be held at St. John Lutheran church on April 18th at 7:00pm in the church sanctuary. All are welcome!
All are welcome to this Community Sunrise Service. It will be held near the gazebo at Children’s Lake in Boiling Springs. The service will begin at 6:30am. Bring a chair.
Join us for an exciting afternoon of BINGO in the church Fellowship Hall! The fun begins at 2:00 PM and lasts until 4:00 PM. Don't miss out!
Adult Bible Study is held every Thursday at 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. in the church library.
This inter generational event is open to folks of ALL ages. Snacks and drinks will be provided. There will also be a raffle to win a new game at the end of the evening. Bring your favorite game and join us in the fellowship hall on Friday evening, April 25th st from 6:30-8:00 p.m. for lots of FUN.
All are invited to attend the Wilson Studio Voice Recital Sunday afternoon, April 27th from 2:00pm to 400:pm in the church sanctuary.
All Youth are invited - 6th grade through 12th grade. The retreat will be held at Camp Kirchenwald in Lebanon PA. A fun time is planned. We will leave the church at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 16th and return to the church on Sunday, May 18th around 1:00 p.m. Contact Jimmy Kreiser for more details.
St. John Lutheran Church will be holding a Community FUN Fest at the Citizens Fire Company station in Boiling Springs on June 14th from 11-2. There will be FREE food, games and face painting for kids! Hopefully, the fire house will be able to do station and truck tours too.
