VBS continues this week!

Vacation Bible School is in full swing. It continues June 24th through June 27th from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Join us for 5 fun filled evenings of lessons, games, crafts, and more. A light meal will be served each evening at 5:30 p.m. You don’t need to be preregistered. Come out and register at the door. Invite your friends and neighbors! VBS is open to all children ages 3 through 5th grade.

Dinner includes 1/2 Chicken, Baked Potato, and Applesauce.

Cost per dinner is $12.00.

Proceeds will support Meals on Wheels.

Tickets are available at https://ttsu.me/bbq2024 or click on the Get Tickets button below. You may also stop in the church office Tuesday or Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets must be reserved and paid for no later than July 15th.

Faith Formation: Children will be doing Godly Play - First Sunday of each month during service and again at 630-7:30 pm.

St John is a growing rural/suburban Evangelical Lutheran Church located in the historic village of Boiling Springs, Pennsylvania.

What We Believe

We believe the most important priority of our church is to continue Christ’s mission to make disciples. We strive to help people know Jesus and then to make Jesus known to the community and to the world.

Traditional Worship Service & VBS Program

Our Traditional Worship Service is held every Sunday morning from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the church sanctuary. This service includes the Word, hymns, and liturgy. This week we will also feature the Vacation Bible School program so come out to support the children! All are WELCOME!

"Anything Floats" Water Distribution

LYFE will be passing out water bottles at the “Anything Floats” event held at Children’s Lake on July 4th under the banner of “God’s Grace is Free.” This event has been reinstated as part of Carlisle’s Summer Fair, a wider community event. The race has been enjoyed for more than 30 years and we wish to show our support for the community.

The Annual Chicken BBQ will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Dinner includes 1/2 chicken, baked potato, and applesauce. Cost is $12.00 per dinner. Rummage & Bake Sale Report

This year’s annual Rummage & Bake sale was a HUGE success. The total raised for the Mt. Holly Food Bank was $1853.50.. The remainder of the goods were picked up and will be available at the Carlisle UTurn Sale at the fairgrounds in early June. The truck was FULL! Thank you to everyone for your generous donations of time, money and goods to this event!
